Welcome to The Marriage Course!

This course aims to equip you with tools to build a healthy marriage and to strengthen the connection between you as a couple – or to restore that connection if you feel you’ve lost it.

We want to encourage you, whether you’re married for a short time or a long time; whether you’re in a good place as a couple or you’re struggling – whatever your situation – you’ve come to the right place. We’re confident that, as you engage with the material in The Marriage Course, you’ll find out more about what your partner thinks and feels. However long you’ve been together, there’s always going to be more to discover. It’s only as we continue on this journey of discovery about each other that we stay connected.

This Marriage Course covers seven sessions:

  • The Impact of Family
  • Good Sex
  • Love in Action

DETAILS: 

  • Location: Grace Church
  • Every Wednesday evening, February & March 2026
  • 8 weeks total
  • 7 PM – 9 PM
  • Course begins: February 4
  • Course ends: March 25

STUDY JOURNAL (WORKBOOK):
Each attendee will receive a copy of The Marriage Course Study Journal which corresponds to the weekly sessions.

HOMEWORK:
Attendees will complete weekly homework in their study journal at home. The journal is designed for you to be able to reflect, to talk, and to dream together about your future, not only on the course but afterwards too. There are no right or wrong answers and no one else will see your journals.

PAYMENT:

  • Payment is required at the time of your registration to reserve your spot.
  • Cost is $100/couple. This helps to cover the costs of the study journals, weekly evening refreshments, final banquet, etc.

CHILDCARE:
Limited childcare spots are available to those requiring this option in order to attend. Please select one spot for each child who will need childcare.

WEDNESDAY EVENING FORMAT:
All attendees will first gather in the auditorium for the teaching part of the evening (video format with some content added by Pastors Vern & Alicia). Attendees will then break into their assigned small groups into different parts of the building. Each small group will be comprised of approx. 5 couples with a married couple providing the mentoring/leadership. The small groups create space for discussion of the content, vulnerability, relational connection, and prayer.
